Gold Ocean View 1304

We have been coming to Colony Reef for vacation since 2014 and have loved every year. This condo was perfect for our family. Beautiful views and the condo was beautifully updated and very clean. More family memories were made!

We enjoyed our stay in 1304. Loved the Living and dining furniture and the beds in main and second bedroom. Did not care for the crows nest bunks. They are okay for young children but bottom to close to top and top to close to ceiling for teens or adults. May be better to have a set not built using original crows nest bed as bottom. Loved that kitchen had plenty of cookware and utensils and dishes. Balcony had good furniture which is always appreciated. Showers were great. The remodels were great with exception of dryer entry being awkward. Possibly consider replacing the carpet in main be with tile. Only mentioning the carpet, dryer and the bunk beds as food for thought. All in all it is a great condo and I would definitely rent it again. We have been staying at Colony Reef for over 30 years and I do believe this condo is a 10 in comparison to others.

There was an open half eaten cheese stick in the bottom bunk of the bed in the crow’s nest. A clump of hair in the sink and stuff under the couches.

Colony Reef is nice because you have a beautiful view of the ocean plus the added benefit of the swimming pool. The boardwalk to the beach is very nice. It’s a great place to get together with family.

Our condo was very well stocked in the kitchen and plenty of floats and things to play with. Beautiful decorations and perfect location right above the pool with a great view of the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay at Colony Reef Club! The unit was clean and ready when we arrived, there were plenty of dishes, drinkware, and utensils. We didn't cook, but we could have, since there were plenty of pots and pans. The location is prime, with easy access to all things on A1A, but not so close that traffic was an issue. My favorite part was that our view of the beach was fantastic! I'd very highly recommend CRC to anyone looking for a vacation rental.

We love Colony Reef & St. Augustine. This unit was clean and mostly updated, but needs a few upgrades- dishwasher & laundry were showing their age, but usable. The view was spectacular from the balcony.

Enjoyed our time in 1304 at Colony Reef. I loved being on the third floor and having the great view of the ocean and the pool and courtyard. I would call this condo a "Gold-Minus" though. The bedroom furniture and carpet in both bedrooms are old and not in good condition. Also, I prefer Bldgs 2 and 4 because there is never any sun on the north-facing balcony in Bldg 1. This may be OK in the summer months, but not in March when you would like the extra warmth.

We enjoyed out stay at Colony Reef the condo was in a good location with a great view of the beach. The condo it self is dated with out dated decor and bedding. The condo needed a deep cleaning, it was cleaned but not very well, we had to wash some of the dishes prior to using them, some of the pans had food on them anyone should have seen before putting them away. We had to call the property management to replace a shower curtain liner as the one in the shower was nasty, and they replaced it promptly, we also had trouble getting the door locked and someone came and looked at it in a timely manner. In the bunk room you could not plugin anything to the wall outlet due to the mattress, and should be relocated. Overall we enjoyed our stay but felt the condo could have been cleaner, and the dishes checked by the cleaning crew to make sure they are clean and to make sure the prior renters hadn't put them away dirty. I would recommend the condo for the proximity to the beach, the view, and easy drive into St. Augustine

Enjoyed every minute! Short walk to the beach with excellent view of the ocean and pool area! Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. Comfy beds

Wonderful location! Staff was awesome! Wish the outdoor pool was heated, it’s was an ice bath in early March. My boys used the indoor pool more, a nice option but we escaped Iowa to be OUTSIDE! Downtown St. Augustine was gorgeous. The beach is huge & very clean. The condo we rented was very spacious but definitely could have used some updating & deep cleaning. Overall awesome place!!!

Great complex. All mattresses need to be replaced. The washer and dryer need to be updated to accommodate larger loads with adequate drying times. More towels for bathrooms would be beneficial. There was only 1 dish cloth and 1 drying cloth in the kitchen area.

Our family had a wonderful time. The weather was great. Loved the condo. Only s few minor issues. Too many glasses and as we were using the kitchen we can across some dishes that had not been washed! Perhaps a spot-check by the cleaning people would eliminate this issue!

This is the second year in a row we have rented this unit. We love the proximity to the beach and unemcombered view of the ocean. The kitchen is well stocked for any size meal. The only downside to the unit are the mattresses are in need of replacement. Overall a perfect vacation.

It was good. We have been meeting as a family reunion for over 12 yrs. It is always a fun time whether at the beach or in the pool. Watching Big Brother together in one of the condos. Highly recommend this place.
